This morning I woke from a dream that I was out in a busy place, and in the confusion of buying something and carrying things, I left my handbag somewhere. When I realized it was missing I went to look for it and found it. It looked cast aside by a bush and I was sure it would be empty. But it wasn’t. Everything was still there. All my money. Everything.
A bit later, as I sat in my morning meditation, I had the clarity that this was a reminder, an illustration, that God’s gifts can never be taken from us or lost. They will always be there, even if we forget them or walk away. We are children of God. He has bestowed His gifts on us. There are no exceptions. We only have to see and accept them, whenever we are ready.
