Lesson 106 in A Course in Miracles says “Be not afraid today to circumvent the voices of the world. Walk lightly past their meaningless persuasion. Hear them not.”
God doesn’t see what isn’t real. We come to him with our problems, and it’s like a child who comes crying, holding out a finger with no visible wounds, or saying “someone was mean to me.” We can’t see the problem, but we soothe them anyway. We hold them and talk to them, until they don’t see the problem anymore, either. God does that for us. He knows our problems aren’t real. He can easily see that, and so he helps us heal the only thing that is ever broken, our perception.
I have been a seeker, and now I am learning to see. I have been a doer, and now I am learning to be. I have forgotten, but now I am remembering that I am a spiritual being having a human experience, just like everyone else. ♥
