God doesn’t see what isn’t real. We come to him with our problems, and it’s like a child who comes crying, holding out a finger with no visible wounds, or saying “someone was mean to me.” We can’t see the problem, but we soothe them anyway. We hold them and talk to them, until they don’t see the problem anymore, either. God does that for us. He knows our problems aren’t real. He can easily see that, and so he helps us heal the only thing that is ever broken, our perception.
Lesson 79: Let me recognize the problem so it can be solved.
Lesson 80: Let me recognize my problems have been solved.
—A Course in Miracles
God’s love is never changing and as this unchanging love, he only sees the eternal part of us. He knows that we are well and he knows there are no real problems here. And he does not judge us, he only offers love and healing. We need only to accept it.
